    So… Is this just …
So… Is this just a larger screen Kindle without the online support? Seems pretty lame that they’re still not finished developing it considering there’s VERY similar products (some of which seem better) already on the market.
Can’t say this impresses me at all. It’s virtual paper. I mean, the Kindle has 3G online support without any fees, so you can download books on it whenever you want. Text to speech and free Wikipedia (and Google maps I believe) access.
This is just a worse product.

    The Plastic Logic …
The Plastic Logic has a large screen which makes it legible for reading large documents. But also it will come as a great book reader. It seems like it can change pages within one second. This is going to be so awesome. At&t partnership has just been confirmed. This will be great for the heavy amount of ebooks. Do you think it would be possible if they could crystalize the border of this device to somehow enhance peripheral vision when reading and enable one to have a photoreading experience?

Just give it time! I wouldn’t doubt tat in about 5 years time, they’ll have full-blown color with a astoundingly higher refresh rate & upgradeable memory! Just imagen the potential applications behind this! You could use this for camera mounted technology were you can see everything in any spectrum from natural day & night time tones, to brightened images for vehicle windows were you don’t need glass, or full-glass like hologram rooms were you cant see in, but have a full 3D view outside!

Every video I’ve seen of this, I have yet to see if there’s a USB port, or a camera card port. I’d really like to know that, or if it’s wifi, that’s cool of course. Even so, I think extending the storage through a card would be ideal. Also having a mini jack for headphones so I could listen to the book or mp3s with it, that’s cool too.
