I have this paper that asks me the family number of an element and the family name. How do I find out the family name?

In Group 1A, these are the alkali metals. In Group II, these are the alkaline earth metals. In Groups IIIB, IVB, VB, VB, VIB, VIIB, VIII, IB, and IIB, these are the tranition metals. Group VA, these are the pnictogens. They take their name from the Greek word, pnictein, "to choke" or "to suffocate." Group VIA are the chalcogens. They take their name from the Greek, meaning bronze-formers. The sulfides, selenides and tellurides of the transition metals glisten like metals. Group VIIA are the halogens, "salt-formers:" fluorides, chlorides, bromides, iodides.

If you had a chance to tell mortgage brokers, originators, lenders, and other professionals what you consider unethical, what would you tell them?

I am preparing a class on Ethics that will be offered to mortgage professionals throughout the country, and would like some additional input. We have the framework of the class, but I’d like to hear what ideas customers and other lending professionals might have that could be included.

Is there anything you want them to be sure to hear and discuss? Any specific examples of ethical or unethical behavior? Anything else you think should be covered?

They are obliged by morality to treat each case individually. Quite often, due to the rigid evaluation process of credit worthiness of the borrower, many good people are rejected. They may have full intention, and a strong sense of commitment, when they go to a bank to borrow for their home but quite often they are left out in the cold. No consideration is given to them simply because they may fail to meet one or two simple and minor requirements. The lenders have that ethical obligation to re-evaluate such hardship cases and make exceptions. This can only happen when they apply the human touch to lending practise instead of behaving like robots, who are too quick to cover their butt, rather than help build communities.

I ask because I have. I can remember a couple of interesting sentences given to me at the very end of a dream, just before waking, that were excellent spiritual advice.

Yes regularly! For me the trick is to interpret what i get.It could be a feeling or an image that haunts me.If i sit with it the meaning comes to me.I remember feeling angry with someone.In the dream i was hurting them.The meaning was that i was being too hard on them.When i tried to see their mitigating circumstances my anger softened.Some times its an image,some times its a feeling,some times its words.They make me laugh.Like when i am angry because things aren’t going right.I wake up with a voice saying you could try loving yourself instead! Then i see my anger was self blame!

I am trying 2 put together a couple of different packages for Wedding Gift Baskets for guests to display in a catalog. I am working for a company where we print silkscreening shirts, Buisness cards, Greeting cards and so on and so I need to include some of our services in the wedding gift baskets. any Ideas would be great!!

A couple different ideas are like a Winter one with a mug "Bride and Groom, date", powder hot chocolate or cider, some chocolates. Hand antibacterial lotion.

Summer: water bottle, a couple pks of crackers, brighter food like sours or gummi bears. Can coozie.

Food is awesome ideas. So are producing local maps where a Bride can place a couple local attractions. Nearest movie theater, mall, and anything unique to the area. A small wine bottle and corkscrew.

One of the things I enjoy about gift bags is when brides put something unique to the area and directions to their houses. Perhaps something like Vermont maple syrup, or candy made in that area. I made a map with the hotel, rehearsal site, wedding and reception site. And printed directions to both of our houses. I don’t know if it would be possible for a company to put that personal touch like that.

Okay so it’s me and my boyfriend’s 2 month "anniversary" coming up soon. What are some good gift ideas?

If you have a lot of pictures, maybe a small photo book to remind him of the good times and how much hes loves you.

I have to buy gifts for all the kids (4) in my husband’s family and also his parents, as well as the 2 kids in my family, my sister and her husband, and my parents. Of course I also by gifts for my immediate family– husband and daughter. That is a lot of gifts, and our families continue to grow. I’d like to do a gift exchange next year, or just buy gifts for the kids. Something along those lines. How do you handle gift-giving during the holidays in your family?

if i bought presants for every single person in my family i would be completely broke.

there are nine people in my immediate family, including my brothers wives and my fiance.

if i start tallying up cousins and aunts and uncles im up to 60 people in no time flat, JUST on my mothers side

i buy for immediate family only, and my brothers and their wives get gifts as a couple not as individuals.

There are many types of gadgets and machinery stuff made by mechanical engineers. But what kinds are the most focus on and most popular?

Mechanical engineering is a very broad topic. You can work on things from weaponry to air-conditioning and heating. It is very hard to determine exactly what the most popular branch of mechanical engineering is because mechanical engineers can branch out to almost any field and do almost anything that is related to engineering. For example a mechanical engineer has background in thermodynamics, statics, dynamics, and fluid mechanics so a mechanical engineer can go into almost any engineering field knowing at least a little bit of background.
